Porsche delivers more than 300,000 vehicles

Despite the challenges posed by the semi-conductor shortage and the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, Porsche has been working hard to enable more customers than ever before to fulfil their dream of owning a Porsche.

In 2021 Porsche delivered more than 300,000 vehicles globally. The models with the highest demand in 2021 were again the brand's SUVs, led by the Macan with 88,362, followed by the Cayenne with 83,071 units.

The all-electric Porsche Taycan saw an outstanding increase: a total of 41,296 units, more than double the number of deliveries compared to 2020. This was followed by the iconic 911 with 38,464 deliveries, whilst the Panamera saw 30,220 deliveries. 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman deliveries came to 20,502.

The high rate of electric sports cars was of particular growth. Around 40% of Porsche vehicles delivered in Europe in 2021 were electric: either plug-in hybrids or all-electric cars.
